Im a new rider and I have this 2002 kawasaki vulcan nomad 1500 and it had a problem getting up to 80mph. So i recently installed new ignition coils, sparkplugs, and airfilter. But now I can get it to start but I can't get it to idle, if I keep the throttle open it stays running but if I go to let it idle it dies quickly. Sort by Oldest first. Try to start it and it when it turns over the oil light goes off and the fi light stays solid. It was sputtering, no power and alot of motor noise. I put in new oil, ran the gas low in case of bad fuel, and followed the directions on the Seafoam can and after a 25 mile ride it is back to the sweet rumble and power like before.
